Doctoral Dissertation

Your dissertation won’t be just another project. From the start of the program to the end, you’ll receive faculty guidance, support and the one-on-one attention that Texas Wesleyan is known for. Each student, under the guidance of his or her major professor, will select a research topic, review relevant literature, design a research proposal and conduct a study in phases that build on themselves throughout the program. At the end of the program, students successfully present their dissertation.
Principles of Educational Research

Gain the theoretical framework for original quantitative and qualitative research, and develop research procedures for your individual field of study.

Examine notable literature on organizational change as it relates to public school settings; learn how to involve all stakeholders in the planning and implementation process.
