Designed to promote the transfer of knowledge from the academic to the clinical environment through simulation experiences. Experiences include: regional anesthesia, echocardiography, ultrasound skills, central line placement, and cadaver labs.

Introductions to structural recognition and nomenclature of organic compounds, gas laws, amino acids, lipids, membranes, protein structure and function.

Advanced Pharmacology
Prepares the RN and enhances the CRNA in their respective roles on the anesthesia patient care team and in the administration of anesthesia.

Provides an introduction to statistical reasoning and data analysis for the health sciences.

Introduction to professional nurse anesthesia practice to include medical ethics, health and wellness, professional responsibilities and collaboration with the healthcare team.
